drive cloning

We can make an exact copy of your existing disk drive onto a new SSD or NVME drive, your system won’t know that the disk is different except that everything can run much faster. All licences, data, software & settings remain the same. We use Macrium Reflect or Eassoss Disk Genius for cloning both Windows & Mac disk drives. The cloning process can take anywhere between 45 minutes to several hours. We charge a standard 45 minute fee for all disk cloning.

Drive Adaptors/Converters

SSD drives are much smaller than a standard 3.5-inch HDD. The industry has settled on 2.5 inches for the SATA SSD as that is also the standard size of a laptop HDD. The drive converter enables a 2.5-inch SSD to be mounted in place of a 3.5-inch HDD in any device. A PC will probably need a drive converter, a laptop almost certainly will not. A drive converter is cheap and easy to fit, and costs around £10-£20.
